Cognac Jenssen Carte Blanche XO
We gave our cellar master free hands to compose an avant-garde cognac – light and fruity with no additives. The result is… Carte Blanche, authentic Grande Champagne, pure in its conception.
Connoisseurs will appreciate its bright, golden colours and undisguised, elegant character.
Behind a veil of delicate flowers like jasmine and honeysuckle, generous notes of citrus, apricot and melon give body to this vivid twelve year old.
Hints of vanilla and cedar reveal the discreet touch of French oak barrels used in this uncompromising blend.
You will recognise Carte Blanche as being an indisputable member of the Jenssen Family – although different from its older members. While it legally qualifies for the “XO” category, the accent is put on light and fresh aromas rather than on heavy and candied ones. To the extent that each season should have its cognac, one could suggest that Carte Blanche be drunk in spring and summer, while its older family members belong to winter and fall...
